I spend a lot of hours in front of the computer at work. I had near constant issues with burning dry eyes. I reduced the brightness in the monitors however it wasn't enough. These glasses (+1 readers) have lightly tinted lenses so I had my doubts but after several weeks use they have helped to significantly reduce the issues I had been experiencing. Lenses seem to tolerate alcohol wipes as well.

Purchased as inexpensive "cheaters" to keep in kitchen drawer. Everything I expected - great for reading labels, good quality, and comfortable to wear. As a BONUS, glasses came with hard zipper case, soft drawstring storage bag, and polishing cloth. Definitely recommend.

I took the glasses to get my prescription lenses and was told by the Optician that the glasses were well made, had great hinges and I should get a second pair just in case they break. Is it just me and the way my ears and nose are in relation to each other, but does everyone else have the problem of having to push your glasses back up your nose constantly, even when sitting still? It's so aggravating. I finally thought about it from an engineering perspective and thought "wouldn't it be better if the 'arms' were lined up with the bridge of the glasses?" If the arms are joined to the lenses up at the top of the frame, and the bridge is half an inch lower, no wonder they always fall down! So I started searching for frames with the arms placed at the same level as the bridge, and found these (nicely also in my favourite cat-eye style). These glasses arrived and I wore them around for half an hour and didn't have to push them back up once. What a relief! I bought a second pair to have on hand for when I need my prescription updated again in a couple of years.
