Q: I am going in for a check up and are there any questions to specifically ask my Dr. when he writes a prescription for new glasses so I can have some made?
A: For new ordering, you will need a valid eyeglasses prescription (make sure it is not for contacts!) and your pupillary distance (PD). Your PD is the distance in millimeters between your pupils, and helps us center your prescription correctly in your frames. If you don not have any PD values on the prescription, you have rights to contact your doctor to get your accurate PD value.
